The Euro is a failure

When I was discussing the Greek economic crisis last night with my colleague Ameera David, she asked me who I blame for the mess we are in. I told her I blame the euro because the euro is a monetary union created for political reasons without political union. It is a failure and the Greek crisis shows us one reason why. But I have a catalogue of other reasons. So I have decided to write

38 questions to the Greek EuroLovers

For the past 5 years, we were seeing the supporters of euro raising many terrorizing questions about the return to the national currency. How we will pay wages and pensions, how we will import all the necessary raw materials or energy like gas and oil. There were many answers for these questions. All of them are under the judgment of the Greek people; however we never heard answers from the supporters of the euro, for the future of our country inside the eurozone.

The next 38 questions is a wakeup call for all of those who believe that the country has any future inside the madness of the eurozone. Feel free post any comment to the below questions.

Recent developments in the bargaining front between Greece and the Eurozone leaders and basically with Berlin appear to lead to a deadlock. More than half of the German citizens now prefer the Grexit, according to a recent gallop. Mr Schauble and other German politicians and media, attack  the Greek Government fiercely. In Greece, anti German feelings are growing tremendously and movements of sabotaging German products are on the rise. Greeks cannot accept that, German large debts due to wars where given away with the treaty of London in 1953 and Greek loans mainly due to their government’s corruption but also because of interest rates, cannot be partly cut. After six years of a modern Greek tragedy, in their despair, many citizens and several politicians here are looking east, towards the Russian and the Chinese umbrella.

Επειδή η απαράδεκτη, γελοία, ατεκμηρίωτη τρομοκρατία ενάντια στο εθνικό νόμισμα, δεν μπορεί πλέον να γίνεται ανεκτή. Επειδή, δεν μπορούμε να δεχόμαστε αδιαμαρτύρητα τις Γκεμπελικές μεθόδους της εικονικής αισιοδοξίας του success story, του τύπου « πες ψέματα όλο και κάτι θα μείνει». Επειδή, τα «εξωγήινα ζόμπι» με τα οποία μας απειλούν ότι θα εισβάλλουν στη χώρα και θα μας κατασπαράξουν όταν γυρίσουμε στη δραχμή, βρίσκονται μόνο στη φαντασία των δουλικών του συστήματος και των ανόητων ή αδιάβαστων που τους ακολουθούν. Επειδή, αν περιμένοντας τους βαρβάρους, μοιραίοι και άβουλοι αντάμα, θα τελευτήσουμε ως έθνος.   Επειδή, είναι καιρός να θυμηθούμε τη γνωστή ρήση του Γεωργίου Παπανδρέου  « τρομοκρατήσατε τους τρομοκράτες»,  απαντάμε ότι  :

Αφού το ευρώ είναι ταμπού, μη διαμαρτύρεστε για τα επερχόμενα περισσότερα δεινά

Δεν καταλαβαίνω γιατί  οι υποστηρικτές του ευρώ, διαμαρτύρονται  για τη μείωση των μισθών και των συντάξεών τους. Τα δάνεια  που μας παρέχουν σε ευρώ οι υπερκυβερνήτες από τη Φραγκφούρτη, μόλις και μετά βίας φτάνουν για την κάλυψη των βασικών εξόδων του κράτους για τρέχοντες μισθούς και συντάξεις, ενώ έχουν ανασταλεί οι πληρωμές προμηθευτών, εφ’ άπαξ αποζημιώσεων, νέων συντάξεων,κλπ.   Αυτό είναι το τίμημα για  το ταμπού της παραμονής της Ελλάδας στην  Ευρωζώνη.
